Et le bebe est... - And the baby is...

Juste avant de partir en Espagne, j'avais ma 2eme (et derniere) echographie... tout allait bien et nous avons donc su qu'Oscar allait avoir... UN PETIT FRERE!

Just before leaving for Spain, I had my second scan... everything was fine and we were told that Oscar was going to have... A LITTLE BROTHER!

Souhaitez moi bon courage avec 3 hommes a la maison!

Wish me luck with 3 boys at home!

Sous le soleil de Malaga (ou presque) - Under the sun in Malaga (well nearly)

Nous avons profite des vacances de Paques d'Oscar pour partir pour une derniere fois un peu loin en vacances... direction le soleil, enfin on l'esperait... en Espagne! Et tout au sud de l'Espagne, sur la Costa del Sol, pres de Malaga, a Benalmadena, pour eux qui connaissent.

Notre hotel etait bien et la vue superbe les jours de beau temps, mais nous avons malheureusement eu un temps assez mitige.

We went during the Easter holidays for the last time a bit far away from home for a week holiday in Spain... we wanted some sun, we had a bit...We were on the Costa del Sol, near Malaga, in Benalmadena, if you know the area.

Our hotel was nice and the view was superb on a nice day, but we unfortunately didn't have a very nice weather during the week.

Nous avons pris un telepherique le 1er jour et au sommet, il y avait un spectacle de rapaces, assez impressionnant, et la vue magnifique!

We went on a cable car on the 1st day: at the top of the mountain, there was a bird show which was very impressive, and the view was fantastic!

Nous avons ete nous promener un autre jour - gris! - dans la marina de Benalmadena.

We went for a walk another day - with grey sky! - in the marina of Benalmadena.

Nous sommes aussi alles visiter l'ancien village de Benalmadena ("pueblo") qui avait une charmante place centrale bordee d'orangers qui sentaient delicieusement bon! Nous avons mange dans le resto de la place de la "fuente" (fontaine) un soir... hummm!

We went for a visit in the traditional village of Benalmadena ("pueblo") with a very pretty central square, with orange trees all around, they smell delicious! We had an evening meal in the restaurant on the square called the "fuente" (fountain)... delicious as well!

 

 

 

  

On a enfin visite un chateau qui a ete construit il y a seulement quelques dizaines d'annees en hommage a Christophe Colomb... tres original!

Then we visited a castle which was built only a few years ago to celebrate Christopher Colombus' achievements... quite unusual!

  

  

Le reste du temps, nous sommes restes a l'hotel, ou Oscar a ete quelques fois au club pour enfants, nous revenant content et parfois transforme... comme ici en tigre! Nous avons pratique notre golf et enfin, nous n'avons pas pu resiste au plaisir de vous montrer Oscar dans sa tenue de sport preferee: bonnet de bain, lunettes de plongee et maillot de bain pour aller a la piscine! La piscine de dehors etait malheureusement trop froide donc nous avons essaye toutes les piscines interieures du coin!

The rest of the time we stayed at the hotel, where Oscar went a few times to the Kids club, he always came back happy and sometimes different... looking like a tiger! We practiced our golf skills and finally, we couldn't resist showing you the preferred outfit of Oscar: swimming cap, googles and swimming costum to go to the swimming pool! Unfortunately the outside pool was too cold but we tried all the different options of indoor swimming pools available around!
