8 kms a pied... - 8 km walking...

Cette annee encore, nous avons fait la Molex Walk: c'etait la 1ere fois pour Oscar. Il a pu marcher bien sur mais aussi tranquillement admirer le paysage dans sa poussette ou essayer le sac a dos, qu'il n'a que moyennement apprecie! Il a ete ravi parce qu'on a pu faire nos 8 kms avec le beau chien blanc d'une collegue de Mark!
This year again, we took part in the Molex Walk: it was the 1st time for Oscar. He could walk but also nicely enjoy the scenery in his pushchair or try the back-pack, but he did really enjoy it! He was glad we could walk the 8kms with the nice white dog of Mark's colleague!

"Moederdag en Vaderdag"

Et oui, ici aussi les Mamans et les Papas ont leur fete: ce ne sont pas les memes dates qu'en France ou en Angleterre, mais le principe est le meme: les enfants offrent a leur parents de tres jolis cadeaux faits mains (dont ils ne savent pas quoi faire) mais c'est tellement mignon!
Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day exist as well over here, although they are not on the same dates as in England or France. But the idea is the same: children give their parents very nice hand-made presents (which the parents don't know what to do with) but it is so cute!

Weekend a Paris - Weekend in Paris

Nous sommes alles passer le weekend a Paris: nous en avons profite pour revoir plein de monde, et notamment Marianne et Marco (merci encore!) dont Oscar a adore la table basse, David et toute la famille, et Alice et ses parents, dont c'etait le bapteme et dont Oscar se rappelait tres bien: il s'est jete sur elle pour lui faire un calin des qu'il l'a vu!

We went to Paris for the weekend: we have seen lots of people, and especially Marianne and Marco (thanks again!) - Oscar loved the table in their lounge - David and his familly, and Alice and her parents: it was her christening indeed, Oscar recognized her straight away. He immediately went to give her a big hug when he saw her!

Grandma et Grandad sont de retour! - Grandma and Grandad are back!

Grandma et Grandad nous ont fait le plaisir de revenir passer une semaine avec nous et ils se sont occupes d'Oscar: ce n'etaient pas vraiment des vacances reposantes! Il faut le suivre ce petit bougre: passer le balai et arroser les plantes, faire des balades, de la balancoire, etc... mais heureusement, il se pose parfois pour regarder une bonne emission tele, comme le resultat des elections europeens... peut-etre un futur ecologiste?! Mais le clou de la semaine, c'etait mon anniversaire, et Oscar n'a pas manque de trinquer avec moi et de m'offrir un beau cadeau!
Grandma and Grandad came to spend a week with us, and they looked after Oscar... not exactly a relaxing holiday! You have to keep track of the little terror: sweeping, watering the plants, going for walks, going on the swing etc. But fortunately, he has a rest from time to time to watch a good TV show, like the results of the European elections.... perhaps he's a future ecologist?! But the highlight of the week was my birthday, and Oscar offered me a really nice present. Cheers Oscar!

Visite des "petits Parisiens" - Visit of "little parisians"

Nous avons eu la joie de recevoir, sous le soleil et la chaleur, la visite de David, Gaelle, Raphael et Irene ce weekend. David, qui est revenu recemment d'un voyage au Japon, a rapporte une superbe petite tire-lire japonaise, que Oscar adore deja!
We were really pleased to have this weekend David, Gaelle, Raphael and Irene. We were very lucky with the weather which was sunny and hot. David, who came back recently from a trip to Japan, brought a lovely piggy bank, which Oscar loves already!

Les 3 petits lascards se sont beaucoup amuses tout le weekend, aussi bien dedans que dehors. Ils n'auront pas beaucoup plus a attendre avant d'aller commettre leurs mefaits chez Papy et Mamie a la Collange cet ete!
The 3 little playmates really enjoyed themselves the whole weekend, playing inside and outside. They will not need to wait too long now before they can go to la Collange this summer with Papy and Mamie, where they continue with their mischief!
