15 mois et des activites de grand - 15 months old and grown-up's hobbies

Oscar a 15 mois: il pese maintenant 10.2kg et mesure 75 cm. Il avait 11 dents mais depuis hier une 12eme est apparue, sa 1ere canine!
Oscar is now 15 months old, he weighs 10.2kg and his height is 75 cm. He had 11teeth so far but yesterday, the 12th one appeared, his 1st canine tooth!

Voici un petit tour des activites preferees d'Oscar en ce moment:

- profiter de son nouveau canape, et meme parfois y feuilleter un livre:
enjoy his new armchair, and even sometimes "read" a book in there:

- s'entrainer a dire "Daddy":

practice his pronounciation of "Daddy":

- grimper et escalader tout ce qu'il trouve:

climb on everything he fancies:

- danser des qu'il entend de la musique:

dance as soon as he hears some music:

- s'entrainer a faire le service, mais la il n'est pas encore tout a fait au point:

train to become a waiter, but he is not really ready yet:

- "lire" un livre:

"read" a book:

Mais ce qu'il apprecie par dessus tout avec ce beau temps, c'est le velo!

But what he enjoys above all at the moment, it's biking!

Visite d'amis provencaux - Visit from friends coming from Provence

Ce weekend, nous avons eu le plaisir de recevoir Nadege (ma copine de lycee), son mari Stephane et Theo, leur fils de 2 ans. Ils visitaient la Hollande (enfin, Den Bosch) pour la 1ere fois, venant directement d'Aix-en-Provence, vous savez, la ou il fait toujours beau. Et bien le temps nous a gate et nous avons pu:
Last weekend, we were lucky to have Nadege (one of my friends from high school), her husband Stephane and Theo, their 2-year old son. They were visiting Holland (well, Den Bosch really) for the 1st time, coming directly from Aix-en-Provence, you know, where the sun always shines. The weather was pretty ok here as well indeed and we could:

* nous ballader le long des canaux
walk along the canals



* faire le marche, ou nos invites ont goute aux fameuses "stroopwafels" (hummmm)
visit the market, where our guests tasted the well-known "stroopwafels" (hummmm)



* jouer au foot sur la place
play football on the market square



Les 2 petits gars se sont amuses:

* dedans / inside



* dehors / outside

Et hop la! Un super weekend de plus!!!

Again everybody had a very nice weekend!!!

Visite de Nadia - Nadia's visit

Oscar a ete ravi de recevoir la visite de sa copine Nadia, nee il y a presqu'un an ici alors que ces parents Dave et Sarah, vivant a Londres, etaient en weekend chez nous. Elle etait en plein forme!
Oscar was very pleased to have Nadia's visit, who was born nearly one year ago here in Holland, when her parents Dave and Sarah who live in London, were at home for a weekend visit. She was in top form!

Nous avons la meme photo prise l'annee derniere mais Nadia etait encore cachee!

We have the same picture from one year ago but Nadia was hiding at that time!

Les 2 comperes se sont bien amuses ensemble!

The 2 friends played well together!

Nous avons pu profite du beau temps pour un repas dehors.

We could enjoy the nice weather for a meal outside.

Et quelques jeux dans le parc devant chez nous.

And some games in the park in front of the house.

Les 2 papas n'ont pas pu s'empecher de profiter du festival de bieres regionales.

The 2 Dads could resist a tour of the local bier festival.

Meme Nadia etait tentee!

Even Nadia was tempted!

Mais le plus tente, c'etait Oscar qui n'a pas lache Nadia des yeux!

But the most tempted was Oscar who could stop watching Nadia!
