Weekend a Paris - Weekend in Paris

Nous revoici a Paris, pour le 1er vrai weekend dans la capitale apres 2.5 ans! Nous avons vu beaucoup de monde et notamment beaucoup de copains pour Oscar: Terence, Gabriel, Alice, un autre Oscar et bien sur Raphael, Irene et Matheo. Une visite bien chargee mais qu'est-ce que ca fait plaisir!!! D'ailleurs, on pense y retourner bientot, peut-etre meme en Aout!

We are back in Paris, for the 1st time for a proper weekend since 2.5 years! We have seen lots of people but especially lots of friends for Oscar: Terence, Gabriel, Alice, another Oscar, and also Raphael, Irene and Matheo. A busy visit but it was great!!! We are actually thinking of going back soon, even maybe in August!

 

Decouverte de l'Angleterre pour... - Discovery of England for...

... 5 aventuriers auvergnats! C'est vrai que la traversee en ferry a un peu ressemble a une conquete de terres inconnues pour Mamie, Papy, Tata Odile, Tonton Dominique et Tonton Gerard. Ils ont ete tres secoues!

 ... 5 adventurers from the Auvergne! The crossing of the Channel on the ferry wasn't actually very quiet for Mamie, Papy, Tata Odile, Tonton Dominique et Tonton Gerard!

Apres cette arrivee mouvementee, nous sommes parti visiter les alentours...

After this difficult beginning, we went to visit the surrondings...

Et tout ca a 7 dans une voiture!

And all this being 7 in a car!

Aussi beaucoup de co-equipiers de jeu pour Oscar...

Puis nous sommes alles visiter le jardin de Wisley, pour la 3eme fois pour Oscar, mais c'etait le plus grand tour que nous ayons fait... et en partie sous la pluie! Oscar s'est reveille le lendemain en pleurant et en marchant comme un pepe... il avait des courbatures dans les jambes!!!

Then we went to visit Wisley Garden, for the 3rd time for Oscar, but it was the longest tour we did... and even part of it under the rain! Oscar woke up the next morning crying and walking like an old person... he had muscle ache in his legs!!!

 

 

Un petit tour a Farnham aussi... sous la pluie aussi!

Et une journee a Londres bien sur!

And a day in London of course!

 

Puis pendant le weekend, les 5 hommes ont ete ensemble au musee Brooklands, ou il y avait beaucoup de vieilles voitures, vieux avions, etc. et le fameux Concorde. Oscar a adore!

Then during the weekend, the 5 men went to visit the Brooklands museum, where there is old cars, planes, etc. and the famous Concorde. Oscar loved it!

Gerard s'est rappele avoir travaille sur des moules Michelin pour le pneu du Concorde... peut-etre celui qui a servi a faire ce pneu!

Gerard remembered that he worked on a mould for the Concorde tires at Michelin... maybe the one which was used to make this tire!

Et finalement, nous avons souffle les 45 bougies de Tata Odile le dernier soir comme son anniversaire etait le lendemain!

Finally, we celebrated the 45th birthday of Tata Odile as her birthday was the following day.
